Yvonne Thompson CBE to guest speak at networking and charity awareness event aimed to empower young black professionals

Award-winning communications Guru Yvonne Thompson CBE will be guest speaking at Crème de la Crème - a prestigious networking and charity awareness event, specifically aimed at young black professionals and entrepreneurs; taking place on Saturday 18th August 2007 at The Porchester Hall Bayswater.

Head of ASAP Communications and president of the European Federation of Black Women Business Owners - Yvonne Thompson, will be delivering a talk on “The power of communications and networking within our community” and will be joined by an array of inspirational icons from the African Caribbean community including; R&B ring-tones founder Alex Amosu, soulful songstress Teisha O’day, as well as representatives from Operation Black Vote and Black Cancer Care.

The event organised by SOULFUL INK aims to provide a platform to unite, inspire and empower young African Caribbean’s across the UK, focusing on key issues affecting the community and building a network of successful young black professionals and entrepreneurs.

Event organiser Adekeye Oduneye commented;

“It is my hope that young driven African Caribbean professionals and skilled individuals embrace the opportunities available to them; arming themselves with the necessary information needed to tackle the varying challenges met in our everyday life.”
