Each year, The India International Forum honours the people of Indian origin throughout the world who have gained excellence across the sectors of: Administration, Art and Culture, Business, Education, Industry, Judiciary/ Law, Literature/ Media, Medicine, Legislature, Science, Social Services and Sport. Sterling Communications was honoured for its outstanding contribution to the international media sector and unparalleled work in raising the share of voice for diversity issues across the globe.
Nominations were made by individuals from across the world and submitted to the panel of judges which comprised: Mr Asoke Mukherji, Deputy High Commissioner of India; Lord Amir Bhatia OBE; Mr Tony Deep Wouhra MBE, Chairman & Managing Director, East End Foods Ltd.; Mrs Kamel Hothi, Head of Niche Markets, Lloyds TSB Bank; and Hardyal S Luther.
