Judged by a panel of industry experts, the awards are a celebration of Asian business excellence, acumen and achievement, and the occasion provides a unique opportunity to mingle with prominent Asian business leaders from the Midlands region, powerful policy makers, industry trendsetters and well-known celebrities.
The search is now on to find the outstanding winners for 2014, and the online nominations process is now underway. There are 11 categories as follows:
• Asian Business of the Year
Awarded to a company that is a proven commercial success and/or has an Asian at the head of business.
• Asian Businesswoman of the Year
Awarded to an individual for consistent high achievement.
• Asian Business Young Entrepreneur of the Year
Given to someone under the age of 35 who has had a major commercial role or an outstanding impact on business.
• Asian Business Fast Growth Company of the Year
Given to a company that has grown the business in size and profit.
• Asian Business International Company of the Year
Given to a business that has expanded its operations internationally.
• Asian Business Community Champion of the Year
Awarded to an individual who has made a difference to their community and for their philanthropic work.
• Asian Business Restaurant of the Year
Awarded to an establishment that has enhanced the dining and culinary experience.
• Asian Business Healthcare Business of the Year
Awarded to a company that has shown entrepreneurial flair and contributed to the nation’s wellbeing.
• Asian Business Food and Drink Business of the Year
For an individual or group involved in the manufacture, warehousing, distribution or sales of food and drink item.

The glittering ceremony will be held on Friday 9th May 2014 in Birmingham. The winners will be publicised in Eastern Eye newspaper and AMG’s other market leading titles and websites. The deadline for all entries is – Friday 21st March 2014.
