The event which will include entertainment and an awards ceremony has even sparked praise from Mohammad Asghar, Shadow Minister for Equality, and the first Assembly Member from an ethnic minority who recently voiced his support and wants to encourage the Welsh Asian business community to also show their support by nominating:

“I am delighted to offer my support to the Welsh Asian Business Awards, which will play a significant role in promoting the diverse and multicultural society we have here in Wales. Many Welsh Asian businessmen and businesswomen have achieved so much and worked so hard to contribute to the nation’s economy and this event will showcase some of their talents. I urge people across Wales to put forward nominations to support this event and to pay tribute to some of the fine business talents the Welsh Asian Community has to offer”.

Yasmin Mahmood , the Campaign Manager for the event believes that it’s the appropriate time to honor the Asian businessmen and women who contribute so much to the Welsh economy and their community:

“Considering that we are still in the process of overcoming a national economic crisis, it is fitting to recognize those that have prevailed and played such a significant role in creating a more positive and stable future for the Welsh economy.
