This edition of Inspire sees First Minister Alex Salmond, and Secretary of State for Scotland Jim Murphy, giving their views on the current economic climate. We also have interviews with industry experts on the power of networking and the positive aspects of keeping your business within your family, as well as in-depth interviews with Dr Rabinder Buttar of ClinTec International, and Summera Shaheen, MD of Diamond Studio.

The second issue of Inspire magazine was launched at the 4th annual Scottish Asian Business Awards, held at Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza on the 11th of November. Over 500 people attended and a fantastic £5000 was raised, including match giving by Abbey, for the Awards official Charity Yorkhill Children’s Foundation. They have been the official charity since the Awards began in 2006 – over the last 4 years £17,000 has been raised for the charity.
